Fully Loaded Motorsports, LLC established 2001-2024

After having a terrible pass Friday night at the 2 day Saluda SC Lucas Oil Pro Pulling League Event 5/27-28/2016, the Fully Loaded Team scores a win during Saturday nights session!
Friday night, the tractor was wound up and running great when it started to drift hard to the left causing the right brake to be used. During that time, the idler pulley for the cam belt tension broke. This brought everything to a sudden stop. As the brake was still being depressed and the motor stopping, this caused a right turn for the Fully Loaded in the middle of the track. Once back in the pit area, the broken tensioner was fixed, and it was then discovered that the oil pump shaft had broken as well. That too was replaced, and we were ready to rock the red dirt for Saturday nights show!

Saturday was a great run for Fully Loaded. We ended up first place! Much better than the previous pass. We had a lot of oil push out the valve cover and had some oil pressure issues toward the end of the run, and shut down the motor as we were nearing the spin out point.

Take a look at the two new banners for the 2016 season! The first one, made for us especially by Carlyle Tools by NAPA, lists all of our teams accomplishments from the past 14 years of pulling and has a picture of the tractor and the driver along with our social media links. The banner will be displayed as a “pull up” retractable banner which will make it very easy to stow and transport to and from each event.

The second new addition to our team this year as far as banners are concerned, comes to us from Jesse Post with JP Pulling Productions! This banner proudly shows our sponsors and will displayed in the trailer in the loft area.

On 3/31/16 we lost a very dear and special man, husband, father, and friend to many. After an extremely long battle with multiple sclerosis, congestive heart failure, heart disease, and cancer, John H. Hothem, at the age of 74, left us to go be with God in Heaven. We can not express the amount of thanks and appreciation to the staff’s at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation, Autlman Hospital, and especially for the tremendous knowledgeable treatment, care, and concern that John and the entire family received while his last remaining weeks were spent at the Bethany Nursing Home in Canton Ohio. Please take a moment to watch the attached video and share in some of the fun times we were fortunate enough to share with John. Rest in Peace, Dad, you will be greatly missed. Thanks also to JP Productions for creating this video for our team and family.

This season’s fuel has arrived

and the new “Flexzilla” Air Hose Reel from NAPA Auto Parts is installed to replace the malfunctioning old “off brand” unit! These hose reels are great! Check out your local NAPA Store… They offer two different styles for different applications! We have them both and they are great!
