On Saturday, May 11th, the team traveled to Wooster, Ohio for the first outdoor event of the 2019 season. It was a test run for the team. We couldn’t be happier with the run! The motor sounded great and everything went really well! I think the troubles we had for the 2018 season have finally left! Super excited to see what the 2019 season has in store for us! Check out the video!
After having issues all summer long the team went out to Wisconsin and tried to figure out what was going on with the tractor with the help of Blackbourn Racing Components. With the help of Terry and Josh Blackbourn we did find several issues that, when all put together, would lead to “troubles” when it came to propper engine tuning. So as we continued to find problems and continued to test the motor we then had some major issues that occurred… Number six rod decided to show itself!
See the video below!
So after many hours, Terry, Josh, and Brandon Block, a very talented and knowledgeable employee at BRC, spent countless hours building our team a complete short block along with head repair and some changes to the drive train.
Approximately 3 months later, the team traveled back out to Wisconsin to try and get the Fully Loaded Machine in tip top shape for the National Farm Machinery Show that was now only less than one week away!
After doing some finishing touches, to complete the assembly of the tractor, the Fully Loaded Machine was hooked up to the dyno at BRC! After the three month earlier prior expirience of the devasting blow up, the team was worried about the current dyno experience… but at the same time, the Team had confidence in Terry, Josh, and Brandon that all of their efforts would allow for successful tuning of the new motor! And sure enough it did!
It ran very smoothly and had some great numbers on the horsepower and torque! Super excited, the team then loaded up from BRC and headed straight to Louisville Kentucky for the National Farm Machinery Show Championship Pull that starts in 3 days with fingers crossed!
So much appreciation and gratitude to the team at Blackbourn Racing Components. Also we need to thank Karlen Motorsports, Hoppel Fabrication, and Riverside Engines for all of their help as well.
We are looking forward to putting on a great show at the 51st National Farm Machinery Show Championship Tractor Pull, Feb 13-16, 2019 in Louisville Kentucky!
What a shock when we arrived at the Crew chief’s, Austin Baker, Family’s house for our usual weekend get together, and to our surprise they had this awesome wood carving as a present for us!
Hand crafted from an original pine log, Doug Ash of Carrollton, Ohio spent countless hours on carving these two tractors! The pictures do not do it justice for the amount of attention to detail he has put into the intricacies of each of the two tractors. There is even tire wrinkle in the “rubber” of the tire and the driver has fingers! The attention to detail is phenomenal! Great job Doug Ash!
Check out the attention to detail in the pics below!
The two tractors represent our Team’s history from conception in 2001 with the diesel powered Loaded Gun, to the present day alcohol powered Fully Loaded. A 17 year history in the making for the Fully Loaded Team and we aren’t done yet!
Special thanks to the Baker Family, Phil, Tonia, Austin, and Cody for the AWESOME gift! It is truly appreciated!
The Fully Loaded Pulling Team is happy to announce it will once again be attending the National Farm Machinery Show Championship Tractor Pull this February in Freedom Hall, Louisville, KY!
February 13-19, 2019 Trucks and Tractors from all over will be filling up the Kentucky Exposition Center’s Broadbent Arena waiting for their turn at competing on the world renowned “Louisville” track in Freedom Hall.
We are super excited and honored to be accepted, yet once again, making this our 5th consecutive year in attendance to the NFMS Championship Pull.
Our tractor and team will be on display, along with many others in Broadbent Arena starting on Wednesday morning through Thursday. Hopefully, if we are successful enough, we will be back in Broadbent Arena starting Friday morning and through Saturday because we have made it to the finals “Championship Pull” Saturday night!
Hope to see you all there! It truly is an awesome experience and tons of things to do and see.
